Carman Place is situated at Main Street and Bedell.  This will be the first building in the 279 acre redevelopment zone of Hempstead Village.  With 228 residential units in a mixture of studios, one beds, two bed units.  The amenity elements are on the landscaped deck level as well as on the ground floor.   With 22,600 SF of retail the mixed use project will also include structured parking for 228 cars.   This development is a two building scheme with a central common road in the center.  One building contains a central landscaped courtyard, the other is L shaped.  This $93M development was selected by the LI Regional Economic Council for $2M in assistance from NY State in October 2017.
