Suffern Free Library
Suffern | New York
Located adjacent to the Tagaste Monastery on Route 202 in Suffern, NY, the new 38,000 square foot library is built into the side of a gently sloped meadow on its bucolic 5 acre site. Adult services are on the main level with the children’s library, multi-purpose rooms, technical services and support spaces located on the lower level. Reading and quiet study areas faces north overlooking the meadow and woods. Existing, historic stone walls have been incorporated into the design. A cafe, fireplace and drive in window are a few of the library’s unique features.
